DBANDS Inc., is the creative inception of basketball enthusiast, Vincent E. Norment. While logging many hours on the court, he grew tired of sweat constantly pouring into his eyes, despite a sweatband over his forehead. He also began to notice how his fellow players' performance suffered because of compromised vision when the headband would slide down over their eyes. He decided to take matters into his own 'hand' and created the first new patent design for headbands in 50 years-the DBANDS.

The name DBANDS was taken from the word HEADBANDS. The DBANDS, are uniquely designed headbands, has extra material for increased sweat absorption and head protection, which results in better performance. They are fashionably designed to maintain their position over the forehead area, making them comfortable and immune to slippage.

As amateur and professional athletes starting wearing DBANDS, they noticed, as a bonus, the headband absorbed impact to the head, reducing the risk of a head injury during practice or a game.
